Couple Recreates First Time frame to Celebrate 55th Wedding Anniversary: «They Giggled the Entire Time»
It’s been more than 50 years seeing that Elmer and Fran Armstrong first found at a Missouri Burger «n Shake in 1962. Now, as they gear up to observe 55 years of marriage, his passion birds decided to go back to where magic commenced.
Courtney Stepp, the couple’s 24-year-old granddaughter, says she came up with the idea to picture her grandparents, both seventy six, as they recreated their initial date on the local eatery. She says the girl had noticed the story with their sweet meet-cute several times being a kid, and wanted to give the «remarkable» few a chance to get it done all again — these times, on camera.
«I planned to do something distinctive for them because they’re remembering their 55th anniversary this year and I assumed this would be super unique, inches Stepp explains to PEOPLE.

In Drive 1962, Elmer and Fran pulled up into a St . Louis Steak «n Shake independently with good friends, according to Stepp. Because it was pouring, Fran seated in her car together with the windshield wipers at broadband, prompting Elmer to approach her and say, «Excuse me, miss. Your windshield wipers will be squeaking. inches
A young Fran replied jokingly: «Yea, no kidding. inches

Nowadays, Stepp says she hopes to present the photos to her grandparents in an official recording on their 55th wedding anniversary. For the time being, she says, Elmer and Fran are experiencing life because Internet sounds thanks to the photographs.
